Absolute beauty,
I was considering the gen of this but was put off by a review stating it was way overpriced as it basically has a slightly modified ETA 7750.
Still a stunning looking pilot though.

Well if you put it that way any high end Swiss brand watch your buying at a $3k budget will sport similar if not the same specs. The 3717 chronograph is priced fairly against any of its other competitors.
To be honest with this model one of the greatest selling points is the signature "pilot" design.

Its a beautiful watch! Does the replica 3717 also look almost identical \ that nice? Or are the mods "necessary" so that it looks like a gen one? I'm thinking about getting the 3717 replica but I probably dont\cant afford too many gen parts.

Here's a photo of the stock rep:
Overall very close to my franken. The things to note as follows:
1. Crystal AR on rep is much bluer and gives the dial oddly enough a tinge of a yellow look
2. Dial texture on gen dial has a fine sandy look to it. The rep is completely smooth
3. Very minuscule differences in hand shape, length and date font
If you like the strap PM me. I was planning on listing it for sale on m2m as I have a brown one that I prefer. The black ones genuine leather and almost new.
