I couldn't resist, I sold my IWc Aquatimer 3719 years ago but it was time to buy one Slevin again.
I am well aware it's oversized for my wrist but I still love it!

By the way, excuse the quick and dirty shot, it doesn't do justice to the watch and to my wrist either (it looks even thinner here )

Nope, just new AR coating and ETA date and day wheel.
I don't think I ll be frankening this watch: I like it a lot but I know it's not a watch I am gonna wear frequently, too heavy and large.

Its not bad. A lot more flexible than i thought. The clasp is shit though. I still think oyster bracelet is THEE best bracelet out there.

Oyster's solid. You know, I owned a Seamaster Pro bracelet from a rep waaay back when that felt better than most any bracelet that has come afterwards. Sometimes newer isn't always better I guess

Oh yea for sure. Newer definitely doesnt always mean better.
My pops has this old old seamaster and that thing is a tank while some of his new pieces are at service within months. I wont say what brands.
