I dont think it has been darkened. Its got that greyer look from the titanium midcase.

If you put the brushed titanium pieces in boiling hot water /oxyclean, you can get it darker to match to gen better. That's what was done on my 172.

Yup. May need to try it a few times too to get the darkness you're looking for.
Thanks EP; it's Orloff. Came on a 448 that I bought from a member here. That particular watch cost me more to fix on several occasions than I paid originally; and came broken in the 1st place. So I fixed it and sold it; but had to keep this strap!!!!
