Well, after several (and by several I mean a hell lot) of futile attempts on my local Gamestop, I got hold of the District Manager and after explaining all my perils trying to find one, he could get me one from the central warehouse.

So in short, it was a combination of persistence and dumb luck! [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

[MENTION=70278]chris3007[/MENTION] - yeah, as [MENTION=12819]mysterio[/MENTION] stated, it's a redesign of the old one. Much smaller and has 30 games preloaded, so no blowing on cassettes! On the down side, it's not upgradeable, so no additional games can be added and the cable of the controllers is ridiculously short - curious because 30 years ago, TV's were smaller and the cables were 6 feet!
