I held off for a long time due to the size, 44mm really is my max but it's so awesome. And surprisingly it doesn't feel that big, maybe the black makes it seem smaller

Believe me, you won't notice it at all and in fact it's not that far from recessed version (I had one of these too) if you don't look really close.
