I wasn't crazy about the blue on blue of my Simona prototype so I restitched it tonight with a natural waxed linen. I'm debating redoing it with a smaller gauge/thread of the same color (for now)... I still haven't decided yet.

Thank you! I think I'm going to start making my own straps. I've looked at the materials required and read a lot on techniques. I think I can create some that I will be very happy with for far less money than buying retail.
