Completely agree, but do you care if the movements are clones/same design as genuine or just that they're reliable and accurate?
I *think* the copied movements in my reps are reliable and I know they're accurate (to less than 10 seconds per day), but almost all of them have a crappy feeling, borderline unreliable crown function (though none have actually failed) which makes them questionable in my head as to whether/when they're going to quit. I'd be happy with a Seiko movement in a Rolex rep, but I'm one who never understood the fascination with in-house movements.
I have sent two gen GMTs back to Rolex for unreliable crown (keyless) functions, one of which did actually fail.
