They all seem way off. . .

shiny dials (should be matte)

glidelock bracelets (should be easy link)

Come on NOOB, work your magic!!!!

From what I've read I thought the explorer 1 (36mm) was supposed to be a pretty good rep?

He's talking about the 39mm Exp I. The 36mm Exp I is a top-notch rep, you're right.

Yea, the 36 rep is nice, minus the bracelet and crystal height.

I am however looking for a (Noob quality Explorer II) Explorer I and my TD inquiries have been full of reps with mistakes. Time to splurge on a gen?

Are you looking for a 36mm or 39mm? It would help if you would just come out and say which you're after. Then we can help you better.

Sorry it was a bit vague... looking for a 39mm

The 36mms are near perfect.

They come with easy link bracelets - never seen one with a glidelock.

Anyway, they almost all have the wrong hands and a shiny dial - but those are not impossible to fix. just get new hands, and this: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Testors-Aerosol-Enamel-Ounces-Dullcote-Lacquer/dp/B009FF6DN4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1368111065&sr=8-2&keywords=dullcote"]Amazon.com: Testors Aerosol Enamel Paint 3 Ounces-Dullcote Lacquer: Everything Else@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41r2JIQKEsL.@@AMEPARAM@@41r2JIQKEsL[/ame]

Can you see that stuff after you have sprayed it on? Does it interfere with the lume at all? Do you spray it over the markers and text, too, so literally a clean sweep over the entire dial?

No, it's clear. As long as you're spraying even you won't see anything. Practice helps to get even, but it's not too hard. Just a two second spray from ten inches or so above.

I took the 369 off so they wouldn't get dulled, but lume markers I didn't bother. I use Dullcote as a binder so it definitely won't hurt lume(the liquid, not the spray)

Here's the big question. Do the Explorer 1 reps accept gen parts? If I'm pulling apart this explorer I want to throw in a clipped feet gen dial and forget about the spray.
