I've just got back from Dubai... had a good nosey in Karama and all the watches I saw were pretty poor quality sorry.

Been going to Dubai since 1999 and now my younger brother works there.

Don't waste your time in the Karama unless you want to laugh at the shit watches they over charge for and the idiots buying them and the sales chat.

It's a tourist trap. Plain and simple.

Same with the Gold souk, if you're wanting jewellery avoid that tourist trap too or you'll get stitched up.

I've bought a few watches in dubai before I joined the forum, rwg , and trust me terrible and expensive. For the money I spent on the shit here, I could have got some top quality from a td. Don't buy it in dubai Souq or whatever. That's my advice.
