I'm trying to determine where I can buy a good PAM 372 but couldn't find any recent reviews or comparison charts.
I read that the Noob version has an easy to scratch crystal. Are there any other better options out there?

Thanks.

Hey Dale, did you end up finding a noob pam372? I cannot seem to find one as well. If you found one please share the TD info so I can contact him/her.

All TDs report the noob version discontinued and out of stock. So I guess we're stuck with the lesser ZF/SF versions till something better comes along. A bit odd to me, seeing as amongst Paneristis this is the most important PAM to have.

Sorry to break it to you, but ZF/SF seem to be giving up on their PAM production. I've spent the last 3 weeks searching for a SF 422 with no luck.

But you're looking for a PAM422 not a PAM372, correct? And stock of one model is entirely independent of the other.

My mistake, I skipped a part in my original comment. Once I was told by all the TD's I contacted that they couldn't get the SF 422, I inquired about the 372 (and the 605) only to be told the same.

Angus has mentioned in a couple of other threads that ZF/SF seem to have lost interest in the Panerai market. He's speculated as to why, but doesn't have a concrete reason.

Only the factory would know the actual reason, the rest of us can only speculate. Maybe they got tired of always getting beaten by KW/V6F before in head to head comparisons of their reps and they couldn't predict what the competition would release so rather than risk failing at another Panerai rep, maybe they've decided to cut down on what to release and focus on other brands. ZF looks to be doing Tudors and IWC now. SF I have not read any new releases from them (or I am not interested in the brands where they release so that's why I don't know. :) ).

Its true, Noob version is discontinued and very hard to find one. I couldnt find anything online but I was lucky enough to find and buy one from a forum member last week.

Hello all, I have seen the original Noob 372 offered on some of the obscure nonTD websites for a reasonable price. E.g. Gradeonewatch. Does anyone have experience ordering from these nonTD’s? My guess is they ordered in bulk which is why the still have them in stock.

Hard to say as we don't recommend buying from these sites so the chances of someone having this PAM372 are very small.
