purchased from trustytime.io 2 months ago. i couldnt see this in the QC pics and thought i could live with it but it slowly getting worse. when i first got it it was slight green and over time the green is becoming me apparent. im no expert but it looks like gold plating was never fully plated there causing oxidation
i looked at some diagrams and it that piece comes right out with the removal of the 2 H screws.
i emailed trusty time with pic included asking them if they could mail me 2 of those pieces and i would happily pay there fee + cost of part. but no dice they gave me a short NO.
i then looked for a genuine piece beause the listing states "External Parts Completely Exchangeable with the Genuine" 1:1 anyways i cant a genuine replacement part.
now im asking for your guys help in either pointing me in the right direction or telling me my next idea is not going to work.
i thought well shit its just gold plated & im in a big city where theres tons of gold plating shops. by the looks it would be 14k or 18k rose gold..
why cant i just take of those 2 pieces and get them plated?
