Yes it has the mini USB plug in - it has an MP3 player on the phone but it will not allow you to use those MP3's as ring tones - I can cut up and MP3 and make a ringtone but I cannot figure out how to get it on the phone as a ring tone - they make it as freakin hard as possible so you'll pay the bastards a $1.99 for their crappy ring tones.

Wow, everything I've read seems to imply that if you connect the phone to the PC and drag MP3s over, they're selectable in the list of ringtones. :shock:Bigshooter said:

Seriously, I think you're thinking too hard. It should be as simple as connecting the phone, seeing it as a drive and copying the files to the right folder.
the usual problem of not being able to play an mp3 or wav ringtone is that it hasnt been put in the right folder on the phone , some phones wont play ringtones/tunes off the memory card ,
thats why I suggested you go visit coolsmartphone , theres all differeent formats there for you,

@Bigshooter you can use a program called mobile phone tools or motorola phone tools, they can be downloaded from sites like Limewire or most of the other file sharing sites and these are the programs that motorola sells for around 40 bucks...If you can't find it easily...shoot me a pm.

i have a program called (motorola phone tools)...PM me ill zip it up and email it....If that feature is locked on your phone this program will unlock it....and allow your to drag and drop tones...
