Hello All,

I got into dealing with Lucy on Feb 19th, got a deal for AP ROO 15703 ZF 2824 movement and made payment on March 9th.
Got the QC pics (after she mentioned she RLed the first piece she received due to a scratch) on April 8th.
(The watch looks awesome BTW in the QC pics --> Thanks Lucy)

Had a few questions from her about open case back picture and minor tuning (she offered a basic service as a part of the deal), but not able to get in touch.

Does anybody have a whatsapp or wechat id of Lucy, so that I could get in touch, wrap up my questions and GL?

I believe she only uses email. I have been buying from Lucy for years. It is best to email here 3-4 PM east coast USA time on Monday after the weekend. She does not work weekends. The long wait for Lucy to complete her selling process is worth the wait. If you want something fast but not as perfect use, one of the other TD's

Yeah, same for me. It's a bit of a nightmare but I'm trusting the testimonials that it's just the way it is and will be worth it in the end.

Newer members don't like the wait. The long wait is all forgotten when you open the little brown box via slow China mail. The older members just want the best possible watch.

You ever had any issues? I received my VSF 126610 with what I consider a plethora of issues and a damaged box. I have sent emails and follow ups after on and off consistently. It’s been about a month and a half since I first notified of the issues to Lucy. She has since messaged back at least three times saying sorry for the wait and she would follow up with me later that afternoon. Also I should not worry and that the issues will be dealt with. But then she would never follow up. I’ll update if anything changes.

Never any issues. I have over 100 reps. On occasion they die and need service but that is part of buying reps. Lucy is not responsible for shipping damage. Her packaging is exceptional.
If the watch has something wrong send it to a watchmaker in the USA. If you try to send it back chances are it will be grabbed by customs.

Well I was hoping Lucy was good for qc and dependable. I personally was just hoping for a watch with less issues.Upon opening the box bracelet clasp was scratched. The accuracy is no wear near the qc time quoted to me. The power reserve is off/less. The end link moves and pops on one side of the lugs having horizontal and vertical play. The fixed links on the 6 o clocks side of the bracelet were not able to rotate freely and were stuck. Also the glidelock does not work. It will freely slide while being locked so it can be tightened or loosened with just sliding it back and fourth.

This is my first order with Lucy, I have to admit I expected better from someone who has seemingly feedback which praises their QC ability.

Many times the bracelet needs a Baby Oil bath for 24 hours. Take your bracelet off and submerge it in the Baby Oil for a full day.

Thanks, I was planning on that. Was just waiting on hearing from Lucy before wearing or doing anything to it. You think the oil bath may help the micro adjustment glidelock to stop sliding back and forth while being locked? If I got that fixed at least I could wear it without the watch becoming loose and theoretically falling off the wrist.

An ultrasonic jewellery cleaner is a better option if you have one.

I appreciate the help. So in your experience the bath or cleaning will fix the defective/broken glidelock?

I made the payment a few months ago now and I'm still waiting. Not been updated for weeks. Definitely hope this is worth the wait.
