Hello,
I new here, but I have been following Tudor BB, gens and reps, for a long time and I have some info about that may be interesting to share.
Main differences between V3 and V4 are:
- V3 has an A2813 movement, V4 has an A2824-2 movement. Gen BB has a 2824-2 movement. IMO, A2824 movement is better than A2813, also it is more accurated to gen version, and finally, you can swap an A2824 with gen ETA 2824 (it is not possible with A2813).
- V3 has mineral crystal, V4 has sapphire. In terms of reps, V4 is more accurated, and I also appreciate a lot sapphire properties (all my mineral watches have o will have scratches).
- Better dial/bezel colors, and proper hands. That is what I have readed about it.
I think in terms of money it is a big step between V3 and V4 (130 bucks are a lot of), but for me sapphire is essential, and without this option I do not consider a rep, then I have to discard V3. I have considered to improve a V3 with sapphire crystal, but I think that it will be impossible to find a domed sapphire with exact size.
I hope this information will be helpful to you in order to make a decission.
