My Carrera 16 Monaco Grand Prix - only arrived yesterday and I love it.

Just love the Carrera day dates. Already have a blue face Carrera 16 but always wanted the Monaco GP version so here it is!

How about the AR, is it good? Mine, the older model without screws in the logo, is terrific.

Does anyone know whether the AR in this day date model is as good as the new v6f cal 1887 cristal?? Some TD told me that the updated day date has the same cristal than the v6f cal 1887. but I am not sure of this. I've checked the v6f cal 1887 and the cristal and AR are really really good

AR is very bad on mine. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that the numerals are reflective and are only visible when light reflects off of them. When I tilt the watch so that I can see the numbers clearly the reflection off of the crystal obscures them. I am just now boxing it up and sending it to Vaclume.

There are so many similar models of this watch that I am sure some have great AR. This one seems to have the best of everything else, except the screws.

Yeah, it's an absolute beauty. One of my favourites for sure. I did try on the gen of it at the AD (greyish dial) and tbqh it didn't really seem a step up. I think this model is a very, very good rep.
