Hi!

I'm looking to get my first replica watch and I'm kinda hooked on a submariner no date as they are elegant and I love the design.
I can see there's a shit load of factories to get watches from.
I want the best that I can get of a replica. What should I get?

What ever model you choose by either factory you will be getting a top quality watch. I have a VSF 126610 LN and enjoy it. The link below will be some good reading and might help you decide.

if you get the latest model (124060) and go VSF (probably the best OOTB rep) then you're likely to get a 3235 mech with a ghost date position on the crown.
that may or may not nother you.

Lots of useful threads on here to help you with all the information required. Can't go wrong with a no date sub, however the best bit of advise would be to go for the watch YOU like the most.

Yeah I saw that ghost position mentioned on a lot of TD listing's. Not sure if it's a problem as watch quality is top notch

It's only a problem if it bothers you.
Even if you hand your watch to someone to look at, no one starts unwinding the crown and messing with the time on someone's £8k+ Rolex.

It's nothing you would really be able to "see" - its more feeling it: When pulling out the crown to hack the movement and set the time, you will have to go through an extra position without any function. The reason is that the movement is originally designed for a watch with date...
