My Gen SD 16600 arrived today.

It's ok. I'm a bit underwhelmed to be honest. My BPSD was good enough.

Rep case that is gen spec (test fitted a Yuki movement in it). Drilled lugs, early 14270 Trit dial, swiss 2824, Clark crystal with tall gasket.

It's ok. I'm a bit underwhelmed to be honest. My BPSD was good enough.

I had the same feeling when I got my BK SUB C. Now with my TC16610LN it seems insane to spend $5000 to $8000 on a Rolex.
I can however understand spending $3000 on a Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch or $1500 on a SMP. But that's just me.

I think the Sub Replicas on the market are fantastic and when you get into TC land or a Moded versions its that much more fun,value,interesting.

^^ totally agree @Thrasher...there's no need to go gen anymore, certainly on classic subs and SDs in particular.

There's no such thing as unique gen "feel" and "gen aura" with reps being this good. Lol.
