I got very lucky and found one in the m2m sales section with the gen parts already installed...

That's the better way to do it. I don't trust eBay and I don't think a AD is going to just sell me gen parts since I don't own a gen rolex and am not a watchsmith.

Sign up on the rolex forum and buy your parts from members there with good feedback, don't mention replica. The crowns are available often here, watch for sub007 as he sells them.
