Well, I just wanted to briefly talk about dealing with Joshua over at Perfect Clones...he was very good and very responsive. I have dealt with him before about 10 years ago when he supplied a Rolex Explorer II 216570 that after 10 years went wrong because I argued with some rocks which made the carrot fall off, which jammed in the date window and stripped the second second gear. I toyed with a repair using a gen GMT but that failed for various complex reasons so the next ting was either buy new gen, or go back to Joshua...and see what quality tweaks have occured.
I have a gen already but cannot wear it for various reasons relating to value, rarity and my own stupidity/clumsiness. After about 8 weeks of chasing Joshua could not supply the black face 216570 or 226570 I think GMF who he deals with mostly are trying to upgrade the GMT movement to a newer VR and are having issues/delays so eventually I got nervous and asked quite forcefully for a decent alternative and I really fancied the old school style Datejust 37mm with Jubilee strap in stainless (904L).

It arrived today.
In answer to the question; here it is, and I can honestly say I am chuffed to bits with the detail, alignment, crispness of finish, my terrible photographs do not do this justice and so far the time is bang on to the second-its been running for 8 hours.
Hopefully you can see my images-apologies for the quality my iphone is not the best but it'll give you some idea of the simple classic understated style that speaks volumes...
