Just got this one in too - the 5227 v2 rose gold. It's a full 1 mm thicker than the v1.

V1 is 10.74mm thick
V2 is 11.74mm thick

It's noticeable and the v1 is way better on the wrist, however if you didn't know better this one fits fine too.

And a quick comparison of the gen on my wrist vs the rep. Huge difference with the enamel dial, the thicker seconds hand, but really it's so much fun to have on the wrist.

Yeah it's thicker because of the fake bridge craze that's happening on all the reps unfortunately .. there is one in the market with better dial colour.. more salmon just like the gen. I have ordered the dial.. and will swap my non deco v.1 dial with that dial.. and see how it would look like.i hope it'll look closer to the gen than the white dial.

Yes the maik reason I got the gen was due to the enamel dial, I got the rep afterwards and the in person comp was even worse than the photos indicate.

It's for the SS.. check out toro's collection of Calatravas. It's there but with decorated movement. That means it's the thick one. So I asked him only for the dial.. it took 2 months for Toro to source it. It's on its way now.

My 5975P says hi, btw I corrected the IS to 15, and ARed the crystal, as you can see it comes a bit cloudy from the rep factory
