Went to an AD today and geeked out with the guy there. We had a great time. What amazed me was how much the V6F Aquanaut dial looks like the real thing in how it is brown, gray and black in different lights.
I am realllly considering buying a calatrava gen now. The other 5396 is really a sight to behold. The deep date window of the Rep now bothers me lol.

Lol, visiting gen boutiques makes you hate reps doesn't it, that's why I tend to steer clear coz I'd just depress myself!

Haha it's actually a love hate.
It's amazing that we can even get honestly 98% of the watch experiences at a fraction of the price. It really speaks to the craftsmanship that these factories are putting out.
The IWC, JLC, Cartier etc that they had there just looked like the reps.
I am so super appreciative of the opportunity to experience owning this many luxury watches without the pain on the bank account.

Genuinely think it's a better watch than the Nautilus, controversial but there's just something about it!
Still love the Nautilus, but it gets nowhere near as much wrist time as the Aquanaut for me!
