It has a great history too.
This one was my ultimate favourite build:
May need to go gen on this one day. Although having two Omegas in my watch box these days is "enough".
The end links make me think genLooking great Pap, is that gen? Only thing that makes me question it is the AR on the crystal. Appears to be stronger than what you would find on a factory watch, but could be the picture and lighting.
Nothing beats the fun in building a Seamaster. The challenging thing is keeping the costs to a point where you're not in genuine territory. Over the years I've built a ton of Frankenstein's.
Here are a few I built over the years and sold:

Wow thank you for sharing those beautiful pieces.
Lmao on the cost of a build, I am €600 in already and I still do not have the case and movement.
While I am at it does anyone know if the BP SMPc lugs will accommodate a gen bracelet. Although I think my current franken is based on the SMPc but the lug holes are very deep and the lugs are thicker compared to a 2531 gen. Maybe some serious spring bar bending required.
Thanks for that Tanto. You put my mind at rest as usuali have a gen non-ceramic bracelet on an SMPc case and it fits nice and tight, tho i dont have gen springbars so i cant comment if they will work in case that is important to you.

Fantastic watch & a very imaginative photo, the combo works great mate..

Franken, with all gen parts except the case and the movement.
Crystal had an AR treatment from takashi back then...
And for my bad luck i just lost on of the pushers of my bracelet...:cry2:
