Cool the bezel just looks bluer than usual to me. Mine is 2 years newer. The bracelet is starting to pinch hairs on my arm so I am going to get it done, I had it serviced last year so good to go for a long time yet.

You know its just the way the sun hit it that day or a setting on the camera that was changed for something else , Pictures are always different even when nothing changes.

Hi mate....

I bought the watch in another forum.
The ref. is 166.0324
I tweaked the watch only for the mesh bracelet.
The slight aging was done by the previous owner.
Here are some pictures:

Nope thats the original from 1997. In March it goes to Archer for a Movement service, Case and Bracelet clean up which should be very little as its really in great shape and a 300m water proofing. I have been very specific that the Dial, hands and insert remain the original. Its only ever been serviced once and that was by Omega.

I'm Curious, Why'd you choose archer over Omega?

Looking at all his work on omega Forum and here on RWI he clearly knows what he is doing and has an Omega parts account, The work he did on Marons is incredible and his documentation and price break down fantastic. He will also be faster then Omega , more affordable and will follow my directions.

Was just screwing around and thought this pic was pretty cool.
The hands look like they are just floating over the dial.

Cool [emoji41] just curious! Yeah, I love the way he documents everything!! I will need a lot of movement parts replaced, so I think I will be sending mine to omega.. but if it wasn't for those parts, I would be sending it to him.

I think you would save a lot of money an time with Archer, He rebuilds the movements as well as Omega from what I read.

I was under the impression if a lot of movement parts needed to be replaced, Omega was cheaper as most of them are included in the lump sum they charge. Archer charges per part, as he has to make a living. But I could be wrong, I thought that's what I gathered from @omega_guy and @marons part breakdown.. but I know archer does a hell of a lot better job at refinishing he bracelet.

Parts replacement is included in Omega service fee, where as Archer charges a cheaper service fee but charges cost on parts replacement.

That said, I know not all of the parts which may need replacing are covered in the omega service fee. I believe some parts are excluded, ones that do not normally need replacing or are more expensive.

Omega service fee also includes refinishing of case and bracelet, where as archer charges separate for that.

When I used archer he was about 15% more expensive than I expect Omega would have been. But I think it was worth it

Being that the watch came from the same source as yours.. I'd assume similar things are wrong. We will see..

I would expect that unfortunately. Check out a post archer made on omega forums two days ago detailing his findings on a "recently serviced" watch that came in his shop.
