Thought that would be nice to try and I'm hoping that if I had an aftermarket leather strap it may also fit on that deployant

From TD. It's the BP factory for crpo, 20 mm with brushed deployant. It's expensive though, $75. I'm told that you have to bend the spring bars slightly to get it to fit the smp

becuse spring bars are nasty little buggers and like to fly away when you put to much pressure on them.
Also for me, switching bracelets is always a pain in the ass and takes me a long time.
Very frustrating.
Sure it's not that way for everyone else though

I'm pretty quick with changing bracelets . I'm sure Om3ga_guy can coach me through the spring bar adjustment. I can use my OEM spring bars that were just removed in lieu of the new ones

Had to do that to get this rubber to fit as well.

Just use thin / cheaper springbars & a strong springbar tool or small flathead screwdriver to maneuver into the holes and it's not that bad. Save the good bars for your steel so it will fit snug and easy once you change back from rubber & just leave the cheap bars in the rubber at all times.
Makes life way more easy.
Can be a little annoying though. :p
