Dude take it from me as I've been deep into the gen scene for some time now. I actually just sold a 43.5mm PO GMT in our gen section 2 weeks ago.

The value on those new modern Omegas drops like no tomorrow and they are a pain to sell (should you decide to sell it if you get one).

I personally would only stick to the 2000-2011 coaxial models and older.

Thank you so much for your answer!! You are right, I also sold my UPO Chronograph sometime back and lost some good dow but what to do.. What if I tell you that I can buy this new PO 4100usd? I believe it is a nice deal and still would maybe keep this for like ever since I love the new design, adjustable clasp and the METAS master chronometer certification.. And it is amazing that wears smaller than someone would think but case of course is thicker than Rolex (50%) but POs are bold in their beauty as tool divers watch.. I saw your sale, didn't know you had hard time to sell it

I think if you plan on keeping it for awhile (or forever) go for it man. Even if not, I'm sure you're aware you'd loose some on it. I personally love the new and old ones! I hope to one day add in a gen one, probably after my speedy.

Hello there!! I am still at Dubai Mall and now find a black like the one I want with a black leather strap... This watch now is like too much black, dark as a black hole so I didn't like it that much to be honest.. Blue is a no go for me and then there is the orange numerals and bezel (well a ¼ of it being orange).. I don't know now I am more confused

If you plan to keep it forever then it doesn't matter how much it costs...

If you're not sure how long you want to keep it, wait and buy one in the forums.

Omegas don't sell fast like Rolex. Same goes for gen or rep, even super franks.

I love Omega but they don't get the same love as Rollie. That's just how it is.

I'd go black model on steel bracelet. The savings to go to leather are not substantial. Go steel bracelet and then buy the leather on the side.

You can always pick up the leather (or rubber) over the forums.

I would go only bracelet, I felt black is way black didn't quote like it that much.. Thinking of the orange numerals one
