Indeed and this is an amazing piece for 2500usd, I like this model since it is not as thick as the ceramic plus as you said can be now grabbed at a good price

I believe so but I just wanted to see if there is a chance to recognize it's a franken.
Truth is like this:
gen dial
gen hands
gen date wheel
gen bezel + insert
Sunnydale crystal
gen crown/tube
gen He valve
gen rubber strap
rep case and caseback
serviced swiss ETA 2824
I'm at around $800 with everything listed above which imo doesn't justify getting a gen since it's now so close at 1/3 of the gen price. I was careful with purchases so managed to keep low cost + I assembled it by myself which saved few bucks. All in all, I'm in love!
What I will get in gen soon is a Bond SMP which is my dream watch. No rep or even franken isn't close enough and it's $1000 cheaper than this PO.

I wanted to do a franken on v5 case but the parts are so expensive and hard to get

Yeah, caseback is only upgrade left. I'll get one if I find it at a good price.
All parts are second hand. I bought a watch with crown and He already installed and it also arrived with gen bezel/insert, gen hands, Sunny crystal and relumed rep dial which I sold and bought a gen dial for $200 with some issues (not visible when installed). I got the strap for around $120 in m2m. Parts are really expensive but if you are patient, you can find them at some good prices.
