I believe this has a microstepper to make the movement look like gen, but I can't verify if it's exactly the same.
OMG CAN YOU NOT READ....ITS QUARTZ OF COURSE ITS NOT CLOSE TO GENUINE, The watch is CHEAP I have two cheap Speedmaster Quartz they are totally cool and most idiots on the street wouldn't know a speedmaster from a fire hydrant.
Here is genuine from 1992.

The entire caseback is wrong, since the Quartz had a closed caseback and the real one has an exhibition. I'm sure it's also much lighter weight compared to gen.
They make a $400 version which has an open case back I believe.
