My friend and I went to the NYC boutique last night so he could pick up a heritage 300… he ended up grabbing this beauty for me as well!

Straight out of the WTB. Plagued with the stripping of the crown or tube, an easy mod of cutting the stem length so the crown sits flush is something necessary. Now, it’s like new!

Are you stating that the crown / tube stripping is still prevalent with these "newer" VSF OMEGA SM300 ? My old white dial SM300 from 3 years ago had this issue multiple times ( repaired twice ) and I ended up selling it for parts. Interesting to see that VSF have yet to rectify this issue ?

I'm not certain how new or old my NTTD is, but it does have that issue.
