The dial at least on the earlier versions was not printed symmetrically hence a lot of misalignment between the 3 and 9 markers. Some of the 12 pillars weren’t parallel or even with each other either. The bezel scallop is another issue too.

Lagunax thank you so much for the explanation. I just checked mine and my dial looks symmetrical and the bezel scallop lines up with the 12 markers. However my bezel insert is slightly misaligned lol. It's kinda annoying but looks like this is a common issue on gens too.

The UPO is 45.5mm. My wrist circumference is 7in, or 17.78cm. It feels comfortable on me - but I don't mind watches that are quite large and heavy. It's a decent lump of metal! Yes of course, and I should have said, “I absolutely love UFO, have done ever since I was a little kid”! I remember watching it when it first aired - I was 6 years old.
