You put the insert in so you got a look at the bezel assembly? What type of bezel assembly is it? Gen-like, wire, or something else?

Here you go...its nothing like I have seen. Not gen and no wire! Maybe this should have been the first picture I posted.

I believes that's a old noob case, I'm trying to see how it clicks.... I think it's sitting on a little track... pretty sure it's noob,, but it's way before my time,,, ironically I bought mine from denis I believe so maybe he'd know where it came from.

You cant see the click spring or the wire if it has one. I tried to gently pop off the bezel but had no luck so just removed the insert to replace it. So I cant tell you how the bezel is constructed but its nothing like the 15 subs I currently have nor like all others I have sold.:D:

Pop the bezel off and see if it looks like this

Bud, im afraid to pry it off in the fear of busting something. If it was something I was sure I could get parts and fix, no problem. What make is your watch? Mine looks like it might be something like that.

Pearl is sooo misaligned... as well, as markers.
Jeff, oh, Jeff... Do you really need 13th Sub?
;)
Oh, and rehaut is wokky...
:p

LUth.....you must cut and paste this on all subs......misaligned markers and wokky rehaut......cut that shit out

Jeff
that is an early noob from what I can tell....fat crown, shallow rehaut, f520117 serial.....99% certain its a noob. You can confirm this easily, push on the crystal from behind, it should pop out fairly easily....no need to do this silly process though. Also, your crown probably screws on barely a full turn, that is a noob thing.

As for the bezel assembly DONT pry it off....or its trash (most likely). The noob 16610 and the v1 116610 all had this same press on bezel that simply is not meant to come off.

LOL! F520117 is the early noob guys! Like RSH says, don't try to remove the bezel or you risk messing it up. Surprised the bezel insert fit w/o filing it down on the OD.

Yeh, too bad it wasn't a MBW/Eiromariner! They take a little bit of bezel work, but when you get them right, they're pretty nice.

I got pretty good mileage out of my 16800 franken in the noob case with the drilled lugholes

The shallower rehaut worked fine for a 16800, but I finally switched to a ST 3035 case because I like the gen bezel assembly better than the noobs funky bezel assembly

It seems like the older watches were made so much better than the new stuff. The older cases look much better than half the shite you can buy now.
