woohoo,.. got it right did I?? :) it was a wild guess ...lol j/k

apologies for the minor thread jack here but did you get a lot of lowball pms for the PO sconehead? I was gonna offer 65 rupees hehehe

p.s. see you've got a pic of my ex as an avatar! How is she these days?
It's a he...he's my pet chimp 'Twitchy'

No offers at all for the PO, it's in transit as we speak...65 rupees, I would have been sorely tempted...;)

@HK, didn't the gen TT used to have no 'tick at ten'? As I said earlier in the thread, I always thought of the V3 as being a V2 with upated DW. There's definitely been a dial upgrade since my V2/V3 purchases, indicated by the smaller second markers which they still managed to f*** up...

generally what you see in a good rep was correct from the gen at the time it was done. the manufactures make small changes in their dials from batch to batch.

you are absolutely correct. the gen tt didn't have the tic mark beside the 10, at least at one time it didn't.

@sconehead, tell erm,..Twitchy, ...if thats what she is going by these days, to keep well. well if the temptation gets too much, pm me.. offer still stands... and will endure untill you come to your senses :)

that clears it up hk, different batches. your v1 definitely has a 10tick. many others do not.
lovely white dial btw :)
this must be a newer one

yes, it's different, it's a mop dial. that is the first mop dial i have seen without diamond markers. there are many dial variations on these.

thanks for the compliment. i was going to sell this watch the other day but this guy just kept wearing me out over wu fee's and shipping fee's, wanting me to send it without tracking numbers so it would be cheaper, stuff like that. i finally told him i would just keep it, i put it back in my watch box.

Wise decision. It's a keeper!

+1 @ rooster ... she is too nice
plus I think you may have dodged a bullet there with a potentially awkward sale :)

The other pictures I posted in this thread are a of a TT BCE on order from Hont (taken by Hont), which will arrive next week, and it has been identified as a V4. These pictures are of a stainless blue face BCE received 2 weeks ago from Hont and I took them this morning. When I ordered this watch from Hont, I didn't request any specific version and this is what he sent. Based on all the information in this thread, it appears to me to be a V4, it has the correct date wheel font, the logo is not crooked and the crown tube is visible. So, at least in my case, Hont did not just send out a V1, he sent the latest version without my requesting it.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, but look at the tick mark after the 10 in my pictures. It is not crowding the 10 like the other versions, it appears to be perfectly positioned. Could this be yet another version? Is this the V5?

each dial design on a evo has the tick mark different. if it has the normal stair stepped markers like mine it is crowding the 10. if it has numbers it isn't crowding the 10. if it has roman numerals it doesn't have a tick mark at all, so on and so forth.

you have to research the exact rep dial that you are interested in then check it against the exact gen counter part to decide how correct it is because they are all different. my white one for instance is correct in crowding the 10.

i probably didn't do a good job of explaining it but i hope it made some kind of since.
