what is the best 47mm Submersible right now ?

I had became PAM addicted and now I don't know which model to buy. I need just 2-3 models to choose of. Thank you very much for any sugestion.

Have you tried making some homework to make your own decision by yourself?

I can assure you that study and selection is one of the nicest and more fun things of this hobby

Just to advice you make your own homework to enjoy better the hobby

There is no absolute reply to your question. All reps have some flaws and the "best one" always depend a lot on the buyer taste.

That said you will get a lot of different answers and you will remain always confused. There is also the availability of the reps: PAM 243 Noob is the best of this model but it is not usually available at this moment.

My preferred are
PAM 243 Noob and PAM 243 J H maker
PAM 364 Noob and KW
PAM 571 Noob
PAM 569 KW
PAM 508 KW
It is also very nice PAM 087 H maker but less accurate

You have many options and You (almost) can´t get it wrong, my fav being the unavailable 243, the 382 Bronzo KW and the 187G Chronograph. It´s all a question of the mindset and Ale´s suggestions are top-tier
As for everything else (and I´m in a joking mode) I do feel vintage, happy and well-humoured with these simple, uncomplicated and reliable ones today, have fun:

You will never go wrong with the latest factory release. Even if you don't warm to it, you should be able to c&r a new release relatively easily.

The new La Bamba or the KW24c both look great. The 24c wears about the size of other 44mm luminors, but with a sub-bez.

From what I've read the most gen like is the pam 364 noob factory in 47mm, And the pam 243 h maker v2 or also the pam 243 j series in 44mm. These are all submersibles/dive watches if your into that look and would be a great 1st purchase. Personally I like the rugged look and functionality of the rotating bezel. Below are photos of the recently aquired 364 i got for my brother and my 243 j series. This is my first rep ever and it's pure awesome.

PAM 187 WAS a Super rep, but currently the subdials are not recessed for some hidden reason

My advice, would be...
Of course read, first, the suggeestions experienced members give you, then consult PAMGUIDE and some web pics, wristshots, and finally...
choose any first class rep level and above YOU LIKE MOST, not the one voted best rep.
In other words, choose a good quality/level rep you like most, not the one people says is the best rep.
Once on the wrist, you will enjoy it more. Sure.

Just because PAM 285 was released very recently, we have not yet info enough

Anyway, I'm working in a review of this watch, and leaving aside some differences in lug shape and the pearl and its support (but not serious differences), it is a very good rep. Most likely another good Super rep
