That's a nice piece. The AP ROO on the table, I'm assuming that was the original watch on your wrist before your tried on the UNICO. Some AD's are often curious, friendly and might take a closer look , was that the case and didn't he figure out it was a rep?

The weight will also be a giveaway, if anyone knows what a gold AP should feel like... but I digress.

Yeah of course the weight is different although everybody I handed the watch says how heavy that piece feels probably most of the people can not imagine that the gen one would be even heavier

Yes I agree that your franken will have good weight. But I also know how much the gen should weigh, as I own one myself. All I need to do is to pick up a gold AP and I will know if it is the right weight
Whatever it is, your AP franken will be regarded as gen in the AD unless there are some obvious flaws. I don't think you will be called out by the guys working there.

Thank you once again T for guiding me about Hublot. I will send you a PM with some questions about the Unico, as I am new to this. The Hublot Unico series is definitely growing on me as a fun watch to wear. I like the fusion of different materials and colors used on the watches. Hublot has done an awesome job in this aspect, experimenting with all kinds of material combinations. Truly impressive indeed.

Actually I do like the bezel quite a fair bit.
How is the movement and chrono reliability? I understand it’s a modified 7750 movement. Watch looks nice on you, congrats!

Buddy, I must say I completely disagree
This piece including the superb bezel is the best out of the box rep since long years (V6SS, old Tuiga, v6AC+R in this line IMO)
The build is fantastic, real, solid TI, genlike strap, comfi clasp, also TI, the mvm is absolutely sensational, chronos pusher easy and prompt, dial awesome (only minor flaws on the overall, but hard to catch for an expert too), handsstack as per gen,, usual great AR ND the fact that they reprodduced the carbon+TI melt bezel, I'm speechless: feeling and looking stunning and taking a closer look its a true masterpiece, worth every penny all in all. NWBIG.
Unico is a great looking piece both for suit and for leisure IMO
