So I'm in town Saturday just gone and my AD calls to say they have an Explorer 214270 in and they can't get in touch with the guy who ordered it-was I interested?

I was on the list for a BLRO and hadn't even considered the Explorer. So I popped in, tried it on and man, the watch was just made for me, perfect proportions, beautiful, clear dial and that fabulous bracelet.

I was sold but they insisted on giving the original guy a further hour to make contact. I felt like unplugging the phone but after 45 minutes, nothing and the watch was mine, a truly lucky day!
