As stated in the title, I wonder what you all use to clean the sapphire glass cover, more specifically what tools do you all use to keep the watch reflective and shining like a diamond :)

For the sapphire just some warm water with soap, for the case a cape cod cloth will make it shiny and will polish some small scratches out :)

For cleaning from fingerprints usually my t-shirt. :p For removing hairline scratches always CapeCod and for deeper scratches Polywatch. :)

I always carry a microfiber cloth in my pocket for cleaning everything but for plain crystal wiping, the underside of the shirt will do. :)

Thank you for all the replies, was wondering if I used those solutions for cleaning camera glasses to clean the glass. Will it damage my glass? I'm talking about the same thing you use to clean DSLR

I certainly hope that your watch isn't damaged by a mild cleaning solution. Especially one deigned for cleaning high end cameras.
I find just soap and water works if you notice some skin or gunk stuck in the corners around the caseback. Like the other guys said, a cloth will work for removing fingerprints, I actually use a crown royal bag! And for polishing I go with a can of wadding called "nev-r-dull" it's what my dad used to clean the metal pieces on his military uniform. I personally feel it's a bit "manlier" than cape cod, but that's just my own opinion.

Clear water and the cloth from my glasses. Once in a while, my t-shirt does the job...

For outside of the watch: at least 10 different products depending on what I want to do.

Um, Polywatch is designed for perspex crystals not steel and glass. AFIK it will have no effect on either since it's not abrasive.

Oh sorry TB, I meant for deeper scratches on crystals, not on steel. Luckily I haven't had bigger damages on cases but if I had, I don't know what I would use.

Still, PAM crystals for the majority of gens and reps are sapphire. Scratches on those would need diamond paste as diamond is the only mineral higher on the hardness scale. Cape cod is for perspex or resin crystals like on the PAM372 and the earlier versions of the PAM212/213/253.

I prefer dishwasher soap instead of regular soap due to a more anti-grease effect
Try it
