keep telling yourself that as i live with my quiet 4130s and you live with your motor of a rotor. we have modders on here that will make your rotors quiet if you put in the money.
I have to strongly disagree. ARF is absolutely mid-teir at best. They make great bracelets and the occasional old YM. But for the price of a VSF, which IS considered high-end compared to an ARF, I don't think there is much to debate. And NONE of my 4130s are loud at all.

Lol do you guys even listen to your watches?
4130s are loud BY DESIGN.

I've had my 4130s serviced and revisioned by Domi. They still have a loud ass noise. That's because they are on a ball bearing, which is just loud. You can even go on the gen Rolex forums and find the same complaints.

It's easy to think that I'm exaggerating when I say you can hear it across the room. But trust me, I'm not. The rotor is extremely loud, I don't know how this is a $500 Daytona. The lightweight doesn't really matter since you wear the watch but the loudness of the rotor 🤯
I have the same issue with my Datejust from CLEAN! They say its normal for a Clone. Sorry to say but i feel ripped off.

Yeah, I have a couple of gen Daytona and a couple of rep daytonas. I do listen to them - a lot - as I wear the shit out of them. Are they as quiet as 3135 or 3235? No, but that is a different design. But after they are serviced and had oil applied to the ball bearing of the rotor, I think it's not even noticeable. Sure, the gen has better quality bearings, and I hear them a little less, but the OP is describing hearing the rotor across the room. None of my watches sounds like that. If they did, I would break out the Mobieus.

A little review written out of an amount of chock I got when I first tried the watch. I bought this one (ARF RG V2): https://puretimewatch.io/daytona-11...-black-rubber-strap-a4130-super-clone-v2.html

And believe it or not, I waited 9 MONTHS for it. First one got confiscated. The 2 Daytonas after that had bad QC and sent back to factory and at last the 4th one arried today.

First of all the watch is very lightweight, which I had anticipated, but this felt too lightweight. My Hublot is at least 4 times heavier.

Second (and the reason for this thread) is the rotor. It is SO LOUD 📢📢📢. I mean you don’t even have to put your ear against the watch at all. You can reach an armlength and still hear it. Also the whole watch wobbles because of it. It’s a dead giveaway. It’s not even a giveaway since you can hear it across the room. That’s how bad it is and I'm not exaggerating, believe me. This is ridiculous and makes the watch practically unwearable.

Don't get me wrong, the watch and dial is beautiful and Puretime has been good as always. But this is after all a $500 Daytona, not the cheap ones. So I wasn’t expecting this at all and am very disappointed since it makes the watch basically unwearable.

Is there ANY fix for this and how circumstantial is the fix?
Hi WatchFreak,

I've just received my Daytona 116500 white face from PureTime and found the rotor to be very noisy as well (as you say) it's very audible & easilly heard from 1m + away. Not sure what to do so I came here to research oiling it & what kind to use. I paid around $800US for mine and read on RWI that BF made the best white face 116500 Daytona. I have a small smudge on "A" on the red " DAYTONA" on the face as well....not noticeable to the naked eye. I have a genuine Hublot, Breguet & another Rolex and none of the rotors make this rough sounding noise. I'm taking into account that this is a copy & don't expect 100% perfection, just some fixes if possible.

Hope you've found something to help quieten yours :)

Hi Oceaon, what grade Moebius would you recommend? Do you think 8000 would be ok?

I bought a small bottle of Moebius Microgliss D-5 Watch Oil lubricating 20ml for about $40 on amazon a few years ago. I use that for rotor. You don't need much and the vial will last you forever.

Hey,

Yeah, I don't know why they're that noisy. I sold my Daytona, didn't like the weight either. So I never fixed the noisy rotor.
