1992 MB 560SEC -- it may have weighed 2 tons and looked like a dentist car, but it was a smooth ride.

loved this car.i bought it at the age of 21 and drove it for 3 years.after that i gave it to a mercedes dealer as a down payment for my 300 se (126).the car drove like a sofa and used 19.5 liters of petrol (6 cylinders and automatic transmission). I still think about the car often, even though it's been sold for a long, long time. I borrowed the picture from the internet (but it was exactly this car in this color)

I have 3 I regret! If I could only turn back time,,
1) 1974 Chevy Camaro—my first car age 16

2) 1966 Plymouth barracuda

3) 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo, if I recall it had a 3.3liter flathead 6 cylinder with a turbo. I bought sight unseen at a drug seizure auction, cost more to ship home than I paid for it. But after replacing the interior, that car got me so many chicks you’d have thought I was an old school morman

Honda Cr-Z, had to sell as it was a few years ago and we've had 2 kids since so if you've seen them about they aren't great for space. Didn't modify it at all but it was a nippy little thing as it was light. Looked great too. I'd buy another in a heartbeat if suddenly we had space in the garage for a spare motor

I maintain, that the late 60’s and early 70’s were the best era of automotive design.
So many great, iconic and down-right gorgeous cars from that time.
My all time favourite is 69 Eleanor in grey metalic. 😍

This one i owned about 23 years ago. Do regret selling it, although it was the most impractical car i have ever had. Picture is from internet, as all pictures I have include family members which i do not want to have posted out in the open. I’ve had many, many other cars over the past 33 years, but never regret selling any of them…. Love to move on to the next. Having said that, my next car (full electric) will arrive in a few days.

You know your cars @Procurator ! That is an awesome and iconic car, Eleanor….

I currently have a pristine 1986 Daimler Double Six Vandenplas (yes, cars are a hobby too, next to the watches and high end audio.) ;-) I’ll put the Daimler up for sales shortly (might regret that one later on, but for now its time for the car to move on.

@peter4103 You seem to as well mate. ;) Was looking at your avatar, wondering.
Gorgeous car.
Always had a thing for old Jags. Several times was close to pulling a trigger on XJ12 & XKR8.
Daimler era certainly was special.

1970 Camaro Rally Sport split front bumper - 1st car; blew the engine and it sat in the driveway for about a year and our sanitation service provider (garbage man) offered $200 to make it gone.

2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 with 518hp (fast back then). I basically had no choice but to sell it. I put countless hours into that car.

Was too young to fully appreciate it. Was too poor to afford maintenance.

Think about it all the time. These were as rare as hens teeth in the US at the time- it was a grey market import
