Thanks for that. The link shows that has the Asian 7750 Chronograph mvmnt. Is that one of the better ones? is it the same as the Asian Valjoux 7750 automatic mvmnt ? Puretime has the "Rhonda Swiss Qtz. Mvmnts". Can you tell me which is better. I also read on the forum that Swiss Sellita is a superb mvmnt. Near or equivilent to ETA's, but cant find anyone that has it. Thanks for your help

Grasshopper, you have some reading to do! Lots to learn. ..
Eta 7750 is the same as valjoux 7750. They are the real deal. That movement alone is worth about $300 ish. This is the most common high end automatic chronograph movement out there.
Sellita used to make be a supplier for ETA, but no longer is. They make exactly the same movements to the same specs as ETA but are not ETA. Sellita sw500 is the same movement as ETA 7750. It is a very fine swiss chronograph movement.
The reason you don't see sellita in reps is because they are too expensive. You would wind up with reps that are 6 or 700 and no one buys Reps that are that expensive.
Asian 7750 = asian valjoux 7750 = asian copy of the swiss movement. This movement is much cheaper, but still a decent movement. It is reliable except when it is configured with the seconds bit other than @9. (Most common other placement would be at 6)
As to what is better a quartz or an automatic..... They are entirely different animal. Quartz is more accurate and much cheaper. I would equate a quartz to a copy of a beautiful piece of art work copied on the office laser printer. It looks decent, it does the job cheaply and accurately but anyone that knows anything about art will know that it cost 10 cents to make and that it is just a copy.
Automatics are more like a beautiful original piece of art. If you know nothing about art you will think the copy is fine, but once you know a little you will never want a piece of art on your wall that was done on the office copy machine.
My 2 cents
