Is the case really matte or glossy?I'm very happy with it. According to some, the white isn't as white as the special ceramic used on the gen. But then:
1 Like 99.99(recurring) per cent of people I'm never likely to even see a gen or, particularly, compare one side by side with my rep.
2. I have no intention of trying to pass it off as a gen to try to flog it off on one of the luxury watch sites!
I also wonder whether they have been looking at an earlier version since I've seen it called 'glossy'. Well, it isn't: it's brushed ceramic and thus has the same sheen as the steel ones. The edge bevels are glossy, but then from the pics I've seen on AP's site, they are on the gen.
No Ap for me, been rocking the Seiko Blue Monster Lately

As I said, no it's NOT glossy. It's brushed ceramic, so it has the same sheen as a brushed steel one.Is the case really matte or glossy?
Its especially obvious where the ceramic meets steel, like the bezel screws. It becomes darker there because of this transparency.
The gen is more like matte porcelain.
But, it's not transparent and doesn't become darker by the screws.... I think you must be thinking of the older version.
