It is a gen and I have to thank inapt rep factories, particularly the latest so called "1:1" release with "decorated" movement for making me give up waiting for a perfect 15400 rep. I've been following the 15400 saga ever since the good old days of the original BP version. Each new release improved something, screwed up something else and left the rest as bad as all the other reps. After two years of waiting, anticipation, frustration and disappointment I realized I could have been enjoying a gen all this time instead of agonizing over pictorial reviews and endless comparisons on the rep forums, so I took advantage of a good local offer on a mint gen 15400. Worst come to worst, I'll get bored with it and sell it a couple years down the road loosing a bit but I think it's well worth it all things considered.
I may reconsider getting a rep if they come up with a perfect blue dial 15400 or 15202 at some point nut having followed the rep world for a couple of years I wouldn't hold my breath for it. Some faults cannot be fixed, no matter how good a rep is and to those intimately familiar with the watch one glance is enough to tell the difference. (May not be the case for some Pams and Rollies, mind you).
