Just received the bumblebee, I'm very impressed about the weight and overall quality - JF had done a good job if you ask me [emoji573]

@yllekp thank you very much [emoji106]

I wasn't being negative, or condescending about your post - simply sharing/discussing my own thoughts/opinions of it....

I knew what you meant - but yes perhaps more appropriate as "very few" keep it.... :)

You would not believe the dilemma I faced selling this. The Bee for me is a true stunner, as a casual watch it ticks a lot of boxes. I was so tempted to make it work but I wanted to use funds to try out some more of the AP range. The Bee was on my wish list for a t least 6 months. The 42s I am finding look a bit small on me also I am really struggling to get used to the deployant tattoo, the 44mm suit better but they are very flashy. Remember I an a pure newbie to AP so very much in the exploration stage.

From collecting so many other watches I know for sure there is no Grail as it keeps changing. But that is part of the fun. I can actually see a future with another Bee lol. I have sold many reps and bought them again. The bee is actually a possibility in this category.

Same for me :) sold it and 2 weeks later bought a new one and this time added prof xtal which I can highly recommend for the bee. Now won't sell it that quick :)

I agree - I see a lot for sale, yes. But also keep in mind A TON of people purchased it too - not ALL of them sold it.... So some people have still retained theirs.

It depends on your style, I suppose - a lot of dress/business clothes and it doesn't really work. Casual however, like I dress, and it shines/works well.

Never say never and all that -- but it is MY fave watch, by far, and the one that is truly always a keeper & which I will never sell. I love love love it! But granted I can see the appeal isn't for everyone...

My equation (after modding about 10 BBs):

FULLY MODDED JF BUMBLEBEE = NO NEED FOR FRANKEN BUMBLEBEE

Just my humble opinion.
