This song "Ripples" brings back a lot of memories about the first girlfriend I used to date. Just gotta love that poetic lyrics with so much underlying meanings about how beauty and youthfulness could never come back when one grows older. Then you would also get the excellent melody/instruments... they just don't make songs like this anymore - pure vocal/instrument/composition and lyrical talent.

I was hooked into Genesis back when I was dating my first girlfriend. Duke was the album I went through when I broke up with her... songs like Misunderstanding, Behind the Lines/Duchess, Alone Tonight, and Please Don't Ask.... and boy that was when I was 12 in 2005 - this brings back a lot of memories.

I hadn't heard that news either. Sad... he had ties to so many awesome musicians/groups of the '70s and early 80s. RIP John Wetton.
