Lynard Skynard’s plane crashed 8 months after this concert, following a gig the plane crashed just after take off due to poor maintenance . Ronnie Van Zandt (singer) and Stephen Gaines (guitarist ) and his sister Cassie (back up singer) died with the rest of the band suffering bad injuries. Gary Rossington’s slide guitar is amazing in this song.
