If I interprete the site correctly their 1st photo is of te genuine watch while all other which follow are from the replica item. So it is 1 photo as intro from genuine piece while all others are from the replica. IMO that’s not a scam, misleading? Not as well since you will not buy the watch only because of the specific 1 photo but will rather have a look at others in details since the 1st one (gen) is only watch face.

I don’t know about scams from that site. I speak out of my experience. Bought there a JF V7 diver for 249$ shipped (paypal payment). The seller was very responsive, I chatted with him via wechat and I belive he is there all the time. Again, my story is just from what I have experienced, I am not advertising this seller in anyway or better to say each has to bear his risk when dealing with nTD.

Why put a socking great pic of the gen up and then small thumbnails underneath which I bet many an unsuspecting purchaser will think are the same watch so may not even bother to open. We all know caveat emptor I just think this guy knows exactly what he's doing.

I can accept that it works for you, but you are an experienced buyer and understand the risks. Also I appreciate that the choice of ladies reps is far more limited and you have to look wider for what you need. But the gen pictures are deliberately there to sucker the less educated watch buyer and to me that's scamming which we wouldn't tolerate from our TDs

I don’t think they are a scam site either. But why risk it if a TD can find it. If they can’t then I think it makes sense. So far I’ve not had an instance where Tim couldn’t find it.

No, no. Use it as a resource. Not for commerce. Yes overpriced. Mixed reviews as to scam or not. Their gen rep comparisons are $$$ and they have replicas others don’t always pick up on.

I’m repeating myself. @gavmeister was skeptical when I discovered their blog but I do believe has since found some adjacent value in their analyses that are not always posted here and/or are updated there but not necessarily here. I can’t post links obviously but I found getting up to speed process augmented by their blog section. Good discussions on replica movements, creative band/replica suggestions, reviews, shows watches by most viewed, most purchased, etc. just a lot of info of which none, some or most will prove useful.

I’m not sure if Malaysia has costs that make them juice their prices or whether he’s looking to line his pockets. I interacted with him asking for a review on Ladies Rolex makers and he’s putting one together. I’ll probably spend the extra $$$ to buy something from him at some stage if he does a thoughtful job with this exercise. Quality with these are so over the map and I’ll pay $100 for the analysis...

Now I’m going to duck ! I feel eggs coming !!!!

I know who they are and where they are from. They are 3 people running business from Indonesia. Adrian and Adank and another one.

Regarding thier comparison they are not doing themselves. They got it from back doors from china. Repworld and lingdoo are running rep vs gen comparison all day and you can check their post.

As I said before they are much more expensive. I would Pay half of the extra amount to get a decent service and oiling from My TD. So at even lower price I would be able to get a serviced watch with warranty and with backup from community.

However you won't get a better service than the forums TDs. They will respond to any issue and will help you with it.

This watch is no go for me. Many issues. Date window, Lume, markers, bracelet ends, .. etc.

The first picture is an additional picture that was taken after QC. It's a shitty quality picture but this certainly isn't a DH gate watch. Here are some better pics and I'll post more pics when it arrives.
