We have some parts in the ultrasonic cleaner already, first we'll refinish the big parts (bridges, etc) and then the gears.. We found one gear on the auto winding bridge with broken teeth, so that one has to be replaced


Running won't be a problem I guess, most parts look to be in a good shape

If you don't mind me asking:

What're you using to refinish the plates and leave them with that nice satin finish? Maybe just a Scotchbrite?

Also, how are you getting the lines of the finish to be so straight? When I finish by hand I always find the satin finish to have an arc from my hand movement.

I guess he's rubbing them upside down on a flat surface with sandpaper or whatever he's using for the finish. Just like doing a warped cylinder head other than smaller.

Good guess, or not?
