That is just craziness, my wife would literally kill me, she thinks two is too many :D
My problem is my wrist is small and I am afraid of going to a 44mm or bigger. The 42 looks big on me, although I am wondering if going to a leather strap from a bracelet would help. Any thoughts from the Pam crowd?

... that's why it can only take a bachelor free bird to own so many marinas :p

For me, I'm kinda glad my wife doesn't stop me from buying 'em reps... Got me thinking more carefully before spending on a watch that don't get enough wrist time. This way, I love and appreciate each and every one... and makes planning for the next one more fun.

That last statement must be true, I don't understand the PAM craze. They seem a bit plain to me? [smilie=toothy11.gif]

Pepsi, if I had a nickel for everyone who said "I don't see the attraction..." to only post "Caught the PAM bug..." a few months later, I could by my gen 000 right now.

Buy a 111 rep, wear it for a month or two and then come talk to us. You'll succumb to the dark side, just as we all have.

I was actually looking at the 111, if I was going to get one, that'd prolly be it, it's a classy looking watch, although I don't see getting addicted, they're all rather similar. Maybe I'll pick one up when I get tired of wearing my PO rep everyday. I'm ordering it tomorrow morning :)

Correct, they are all similar but none of them are the same. If you get one, you'll want another, then you'll start recognizing/appreciating the nuances of each model.

Next thing you know, you'll be buying 47mm cases and vintage models!

Yep, I agree with Evildee. The 177 and 082 are *only* 44mm not including the crown/cg. So, if you want bigger than that, you need to go with either his Fiddy or one of the MM20 models he sells. Good luck.

Yep... I was a Rolly and PO addict myself, until I went for the harder stuff. Now my PAM bug is growing, and I'm having a hard time controlling it. Even my kid got bit by the PAM euphoria bug.

Before I joined this forum I had about 10 Rollies.....then I got a POU Pumkin.
I ordered my first PAm111h fully modded end of Dec last year, had to wait 10 weeks to get it.
Was tired of waiting so I bought a PAM089 in the meantime and when I got that my wife liked the style of
Panerai ( she is normallynot into watches) . Then I got a PAM049 for here and I ordered a PAM253 for me.
Thinking now about getting 2 more with a white face.

All Together, in 3 month I got 4 PAM's, all my 10 Rollies are in the watchbox and my POU is on the winder.

and for those with significant others... I had a proud, proud moment last night when my wife walked up to me in Barnes and Noble last night with a watch magazine and showed me a pic of a 212, and told me she was sure it was one I didn't have... she even pointed out the distinguishing features...

what made this a proud moment was that a few months ago, she thought they were all the same and couldn't understand why I had to have so many of the same watch...

how did this happen? she currently has a datejust, baume & mercier, bulgari, and breitling rep... with a yachty on the way... having a few reps herself has made her start appreciating my fascination with them and watches more... and she knows so much now that when I ordered the yachty, I had to prove to her it was coming with the eta...
