Well executed GMTs which are NOT Rolex?

This is a Seiko GMT that I built from parts. It includes the NH34 movement and is a knock off of the Rolex Explorer II. I've got less than $150 in this build.

This is another one, same NH34 movement. This one cost around $125! But the bracelet came out of my parts drawer. I may get a jubilee from AliX- I think it would look good on a jubilee.

I've not seen the worldtimer in person but I know it's a popular piece, looks great on wrist. I've had the Tudor and it really held it's own in my rotation for a long time before I sold it. That was gen, not rep, and it really did look the business.

The saga continues. Nearly went with the ZF Tudor but the handstack being wrong bothered me. I’ve been waiting an age for a Cartier Santos XL to appear so I’ll try that and then resume the GMT hunt.

It's new on the market, but I've heard the GMT works. It has an unusual dial layout (24 hours to complete a rotation). Maybe worth considering.

Stronger, wiser, more courageous, better looking, and wealthier men than me will make it to the end of 2024 without buying a rep in December.

I, on the other hand, will enjoy my first titanium cased watch in a long time, reflecting the Christmas tree lights. You are invited to join me, or you can Grinch yourself out saving money for retirement if you’re so inclined.

So many and varied itches scratched.

Not a Rolex.
Is an Omega.
Not merely one additional time zone but many and varied options.
Light on the wrist, but simultaneously not dainty in profile.
One of those watches I did NOT see as a gen on a wrist in the process of living through London wankerdom - and that in particular is no mean feat at all.

And oh yes, the peak of gauche showiness - a display back to show off a not bad at all looking rotor and movement.
