Sorry it took so long to respond, just saw the message now. Thanks for the permission TB. So the story goes a little something like this:
So I see his straps for sale and I am interested in one of the rep ones. It's the dark brown 26mm strap. He is asking 30, so I message him as follows:
Me: "Hey - is this 26/22?Would you accept $20 for this? If so, pp is ready to go. Not trying to lowball by any means so please dont be offended if this doesnt work for you, just trying to make a deal on this one with you quickly without any hassles."
Response: "Hi...
Thanks for your offer but:
1: You could never offend me, you only offend yourself.
2: it is a 100% grade F lowball offer by EVERY means, how could you say it is not and look yourself in the mirror?
3: The strap is BRAND NEW
4: The strap includes shipping and a signed Panerai buckle
5: Writing this email without your purchase is a hassle...
(not sure if the buckle end is 22 or 24mm)
My slightly taken aback response back to the seller:
David - a simple yes or no would have sufficed. If you said no, i would have offered the same amount without the buckle. You have been around longer than I have have and i am sure you have experienced your fair share of lowball offers. When i post a watch for sale for 200 and get offered 100 i simply ignore it or answer no as that is a lowball offer that shows zero intent. We are talking about a rep strap, i could understand your response if i made the same offer on a 50-60+ dollar strap that you were selling. Me asking for 10 off is a hassle to you? I didnt realize that having to answer someone who is offering you money is an nuisance.
Regardless - Offer still stands. Willing to do 20 without the buckle as I have plenty and dont need another one. If your interested, drop me a pm, if not ... best of luck with your sale.

I don't know if I've been anywhere a lot longer than you, but I have not experienced my fair share of lowball offers stating that they are by no means a low ball offer, so stop assuming and let's stick to the facts:

- Yes, you asking for $10 off is a hassle to me. If you are confused as to why, please ask someone else.
- I don't need your (or anyone else's) money, I am selling these because I thought maybe some people would like some nice straps for a fair price; If I don't sell them, I will put them back in the drawer or give them to friends.
- Above anything else in this world, I value my time.
