I hate that this is what it has come to, @Oascom.

A story of great success at the cost of RWI members that got you a very fancy living. How do I know? I was one of your first biggest supporters.

But, success got to your head. You bit more than you could chew.

You need more time to "figure everything out". "It's hard times now."

How are times hard when you are sitting on all of our members money?

It should be very easy to admit that you love the lifestyle RWI members have financed for you, it should be even easier to admit that you can't handle it.

RWI staff is still dealing with a mountain of tickets due to you.

What a way to go down, Pat. What a way.

Get our members the resolution they need. Figure it out.

Damn this one is pretty surprising. Did the guy get overwhelmed and never deliver? How big must the backlog be for that to happen? Looks like the dude was super active till July and then just fell off the map.

Pat you have well over 10k in people's money and goods, you have broken every promise you have made to me and the tickets I'm dealing with as to when things would be done and now communications have stopped again, it takes 60 seconds to answer an email so ther is no excuse.

I have asked you time and time again just to return property and refund monies and yo haven't done that either, I'm very disappointed in you, your customers have had enough. You do realise that taking payment electronically and them not delivering is potentially wire fraud and that is a federal felony, don't you? This will be made right, how that happens is up to you.

@Oascom I’ve never done business with you or even spoken to you before, but I’ve admired your work since I joined the forum. This is honestly just incredibly disappointing and sad to see.

Trust is hard-earned, easily lost, and difficult to reestablish. You need to make this right.

I’ve asked Pat once about a bezel remover, he was rude and unresponsive. I’ve made a tool for myself and told him to never mind my request, he blocked me.

I should have added this to the bottom of the tool: Fuck Oascom

I’ve never done a deal with OASCOM but this feels it could be one of those moments of internet facilitated overextension which comes up across all sorts of different areas where the product is niche.

I’ve seen people sink enormous money into their home machine shop to start delivering a product before getting flooded. I’ve seen people take money for a product and then get legitimately unwell. We are humans, and with all the will in the world to get thing right, life happens.

I don’t know what bring OASCOM to where he is now. Perhaps others do.

All of that is to say that it doesn’t matter what path brings a man to things going wrong once things have gone wrong. It certainly seems like courtesy and forgiveness have already been extended.

OASCOM, it seems to me that rather than being lathered for not responding to previous requests and warnings, you will be judged based not on what got you here, but what you do next.

What matters is what you do here, now. On behalf of everyone else who has admired your work but not found themselves on the end of a raw deal as far as property or cash - and they will feel differently no doubt - please choose wisely.
