There seems to be some debate as to whether the car pictured above is an 8 series or a 6 series. The view from Via Beati 36 B shows quite clearly the venting behind the front wheel arch and also on the rear bumper, meaning it's definitely an 8 series, maybe even an 8 series 'concorso', as they say in Italy.

On the subject of corso, I remember learning in school that the ancient Romans built all their roads in straight lines, no bends.
Looks like there are no bends in Castelletto sopra Ticino.
Either that or the owner is too much of a pussy to lean the fucking thing over in the corners.

Without a question a 8 series GC. I drive a 6 series GC so I can tell for sure.
Price tag over 100k - a lot of Deep instead of „GEN“ crystals to install to get there…

That gives you an idea of the morality of the guy. Which service provider do you know that does not return the exchanged parts as well, the more so if they still can be used? I know people who'll return you the broken parts or at least ask if you want them binned.

After reading Feefo’s comment, I cracked open my 116500 that was modded by the scammer, removed the rotor module and checked it in detail. I also opened the zip bag with all the original parts he gave back to me after the mod. I could hardly believe it. But yeah, he actually returned all the rep parts, and the gen parts, LIGA chrono wheel, balance complete etc he installed for me are really gen.

No wonder I’ve never won any three-number lotto prize, or even a Marvin's raffle here. I probably used up all my luck just getting out of this shitty mess in one piece...

Because my Sub was done in 2020 I think, and back then I got my Rep Crystal, DW and the exchanged bezel insert back - so I hopefully guess that it was all done properly… from the DJ36 project in 2023-2024 there was not one part sent back to me with the watch…

unfortunately this has been a long time coming. my good irl friend has had several issues with Nikz but decided always to close his eyes to them. here are some instances, i have pictorial evidence if anyone needs.

- swap cf ym case with arf
- swap cf daytona dial with noob
- swap provided fitted gen dw on a sub with a clean

he ended up compensating him so i thought not so bad of it, but just to see what a scumbag this guy is. he never claimed his mistakes btw.
